Foodmate News: On August 25, Eurasian Economic Commission News Center: The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved a list of standards adopted for the technical regulations on the " Safety of Food Additives, Flavors and Fragrances and Processing Aids". The list includes applications and evaluations. Rules and research methods necessary for product compliance within the applicable scope of technical regulations.
It is reported that this revised list includes the certified measurement method MVI.MN 6028-2018 "Determination of the mass concentration of sulfurous acid in gelatin (as SO2)" and the application time of the other 2 measurement methods in the revised list, including MVI.MN 806-98 "Determination of Sorbic Acid and Benzoic Acid Concentrations in Foods by High Performance Liquid Chromatography" and MVI.MN 3239-2009 "Determination of β-Carotene in Special Foods". Such standards will be subject to relevant interstate standards. Included in the list of technical regulations and standards for formal application.
