The Korean Agricultural Affairs News reported on August 31 that the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Foodstuffs of South Korea recently stated that with the end of the "video quarantine" process for the export of bell peppers to China , Korean bell peppers were officially exported to China. It is reported that China and South Korea reached an agreement in November last year, but due to the impact of the epidemic, on-site quarantine procedures were suspended. After negotiation between the two parties, it was decided to adopt video quarantine instead of on-site quarantine. The video quarantine is conducted by the head of the Korean Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock Quarantine Headquarters and the export vessel’s on-site video link with the General Administration of Customs of China. It is understood that the initial export volume was 820 kg, which was shipped from Busan Port on the 27th and the destination was Tianjin Port, China.
