On September 12, the General Administration of Customs issued a notice on preventing the introduction of German African swine fever into China, which will be implemented as of the date of publication. The main contents include banning the direct or indirect import of pigs, wild boars and their products from Germany, stopping the issuance of the "Quarantine Permit of Entry Animals and Plants" for the importation of pigs, wild boars and their products from Germany, and revoking the "Quarantine Permit of Entry Animals and plants" that has been issued within the valid period. All pigs, wild boar and their products shipped from Germany as of the date of this announcement shall be returned or destroyed. The pigs, wild boar and their products shipped from Germany before the release of this announcement shall be quarantined and released after passing the quarantine.
