On January 6, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a notice on Preventing the Introduction of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza from France to China, banning the direct or indirect import of poultry and related products from France (derived from unprocessed or processed poultry products that may still spread the disease).It is prohibited to send or bring poultry and its products from France to China.once found, it will be returned or destroyed.This Announcement shall come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
