Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration News on January 31: The Bureau reiterated the regulations on food advertising (including promotion during live broadcast on the platform). Food advertisements must be applied for through the electronic submission system (the electronic submission system is approved within 8 working days) and approved by the bureau.

Supattra, deputy secretary-general of the bureau, said that from the statistics of complaints received in the past six years, more than 60% are complaint product advertisements, of which dietary supplements and coffee are the most involved products. Consumers are advised to pay attention to the information that should have a number "ฆอ." in the food advertisement, otherwise they can call the complaint hotline to make a complaint. Offenders will be punished by law.
