Soliciting opinions on the National Food Safety Standard Plant Protein Peptides

2019 Food Safety, Standard & Regulation Seminar Successfully Held in Beijing

During 25-26 October, 2019, Food Safety, Standard & Regulation Seminar organised by Global Foodmate, supported by Food Safety and Standard Technology Brach of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology and Standardization Committee of China Food and Drug Corporation Quality and Safety Promotion Association was successfully held in Beijing.     Global Foodmate arranged seminars regarding food safety supervision, food standards and regulations, risk monitoring & control, etc. aiming to build a platform for food safety regulators, industry experts and enterprise technicians to exchange information on food safety and standards. 200+ practitioners from nearly 200 food enterprises and institutions have participated the two-day seminar.   Global Foodmate invited 20+ experts as speakers during the two-day seminar, from Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST), National Health Commission (NHC), Centre for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA), General Administration of Customs (GAC) and Shenzhen Customs, China Nutrition and Health Food Association (CNHFA), China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS), industry elites from New Hope and Meituan, experienced lawyers from law firms and senior consultant from Global Foodmate.     The Food Safety, Standard & Regulation Seminar (1st) was held successfully. Food Safety Seminar was Successfully Held in Hong Kong (July 29, 2019)

On July 29, 2019, Food Safety Seminar on Interpretation of FSSC 22000 Version 5 was successfully held in Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong. Enterprises, institutions and individuals from China Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan Area have participated in this seminar. Foodmate was invited by the organiser, Lloyd’s Register (LR), as a speaker to attend the seminar and gave a speech on China Food import Regulation. Ms. Emily Xu, the overseas project manager, spoke at the seminar, introduced the current food safety regulatory framework in China, import regulations and processes. In addition, representative from FSSC 22000 China Liaison Office and senior food assessor from LR gave speeches on interpretation and development trend of FSSC 22000 Version 5 as well as the introduction of new BRC Food issue 8. Other topics, such as How ISO 22000 help to create food safety culture, Supply chain technology on food safety control, and Benefits of deploying block chain technology in food industry were also discussed on the seminar.   These speeches attracted great interest of participants, also triggered heated discussions and communications.
